Jeff Posey, has more than 22 years experience in the construction industry. Ranging from high-rise and historical building restoration, to develop, design and build Smart Growth Communities, Jeff has built a reputation for exceeding his client’s expectations. With over 10 years experience in the roofing industry, as an owner, he knows that cash flow is the number one issue that can stall growth, cause employee turnover, damage credit and sometimes close doors. Through Jeff’s experience and growing connections with roofing and restoration contractors across the nation he has successfully recreated a positive cash flow for his business and in a successful acquisition of his roofing and solar business Jeff consults with owners to help them create a successful business. Through starting Genesis Capital Ventures, he has successfully created positive cash flow for many other contractors around the country. This success has allowed him to pursue one of his many other dreams of racing cars and motorcycles; recently winning the Mint 400.

Jeff has made it his mission to inform and education others in the industry through lunch and learn sessions he holds across the United States, in addition, he is also focused on the customer and their communities. Jeff is the founder of RoofScamHelp.org. This website was designed after Jeff heard about a local contractor in his own community who had scammed a single mother on a project that was awarded to this contractor out of necessity. With this website Jeff is drawing the battle lines by calling out to all contractor and insurance companies to join this non-profit and help to stomp out the fraud and corruption throughout the roofing industry. Jeff has also partnered with Dan Akroyd in Louisiana with the Coastal Blue Foundation to help rebuild homes for displaced Emergency Response employees in the New Orleans area after hurricane Katrina.
